Waleed Ahmed

Waleed Ahmed is a final-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) student at Gomal University, Pakistan. He founded Hoof & Herd to make everyday dairy and livestock care clearer and more useful for farmers and animal owners. His interests include herd health, feeding, prevention, biosecurity and animal welfare.

His approach combines veterinary studies with supervised experience in dairy, poultry and clinical settings. Through Hoof & Herd, he shares practical guides intended to help readers understand livestock care and make informed decisions with their local veterinarian.

Waleed also founded Grey Muzzle Squad (greymuzzlesquad.com), an educational website focused on senior dog health, preventive care and responsible pet ownership. Both projects reflect his interest in making animal-health knowledge more accessible.

Learning is an ongoing process. The aim here is to explain useful concepts in plain language, respect animal welfare and share experience responsibly — never to replace an examination of an individual animal.
